Bill was born at Toronto on February 2, 1925.
He attended Central Tech, Toronto; worked at Dominion Airways and York Arsenal in Toronto.
He enlisted in the RCAF on March 25, 1943 at Toronto.
Bill trained at Manning Depot, Toronto; General Duties at Jarvis; Ground School at Quebec City and #9 B&G School at Mon Joli where he received his AG wing on November 12, 1943.
He was posted overseas to #3 PRC at Bournemouth on December 23, 1943.
Bill was at #24 OTU Honeybourne from January 27, 1944 till March 28, 1944; Battle School - Commando from March 8, 1944 - 1664 CU  March 22, 1944.
He was posted to #428 Squadron and his crew consisted of Pilot - Lowell Mossman; Nav. Jack Knippleberg;
BA - Neil Jones; F/E Trevor Meadows; WAG Andy Anderson; MUG Eddy Walton; RG - Bill Cole.

Bill was demobbed at Toronto on March 9, 1945.
He was a civil engineer.
He is married to Margaret Catherine and they have 4 sons and 7 grandchildren.  January 29, 2002
