Glenn was born on January 4, 1920 at Merlin, Ontario. He completed 2 years Continuation School and in August 15, 1940 he joined the RCAF.
He was at #1 Manning Depot, Toronto; Guard Duty at Trenton and then #1 ITS at Toronto; #3 EFTS, London; #6 SFTS, Dunnville and on April 18, 1941 received his Pilot’s Wings.

He was posted to the UK and trained at Kinloss, Scotland on Whitley’s and then to Driffield, Yorkshire on
Halifaxes. He  was posted to #77 & 35  Squadron at Topcliffe - Leeming and Linton-on-Ouse.

Glenn left the RCAF at Toronto on October 25, 1945

Upon returning to Canada, He became involved as a singer on CBC. Later in Opera Festival, Toronto (one of the original members); Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto; Baritone -- Career extensive radio - original member Canadian Opera Company --- Faculty Royal Conservatory of Music 1973 - 1995. Followed by private teaching 1995(23 years as a vocal teacher); Volkswagen Sales Organization 1955-1973 (18 years)

Married December 14, 1946 to Edith Meek(Pianist); Children --- Mark Lynton 1948; Barbara Shirley (Kemp) 1950
Edith Anne(Evans) 1957; Mary Louise(Glenister) 1960. Nine grandsons and five grandaughters.        May 25/01
