Harry was born on February 25, 1918 at Ottawa.
He graduated Ottawa Technical School. Employed by General Motors dealer, and by CNR Montreal.
Harry enlisted in the RCAF at Ottawa in 1940.
He trained at #1 ITS, Toronto; #2 Wireless School, Calgary; #1 B&G School, Jarvis; Debert, Nova Scotia.
(Harry was a classmate of ACA member Howard Hewer at Calgary).
He was posted to the UK in March 1941.
He trained at Yatesbury Wireless School, Wiltshire; #16 OTU, Upper Heyford, September 1941.
Harry was posted to #106 Squadron, Coningsby, Lincs.
Harry was demobbed at Ottawa in September 1945.
On September 12, 1945, Harry joined the Ontario Government Registar General’s Department and, in his words “rose through the ranks” to become Deputy Registar General of Ontario.
Harry married in 1946 and has one son, Bill. His first wife passed away and Harry married again - to Ruby on December 4, 1970         January 24, 2002
